what is this?

I need something like this blog to exist to not go totally insane at this point. As someone who has worked professionally with computers since the beginning of my career (well, my early childhood really) my day-to-day and my whole field in general has transformed considerably at lightning speed. I'm no longer solving mental problems at work most of the time, I’m connecting information together, prompting, seeing what happens then doing it again. I'm not here to convince you of anything, but I'm personally quite certain AI will change many, many things, at least in certain industries. 

One thing I don’t want to give up is my already noticeably shrinking capacity to learn and retain information. It's my aim with this blog to un-fuck my brain and force myself to learn new things by taking notes like I used to do in school. Call it stockholm syndrome but I think there is a lot of depth and to be learned in AI below the surface, in agentic pipelines, scaffoldings etc. so I will be writing about that because I still enjoy making things with computers. I will also be writing about a new or old album I haven’t heard before. Not rating, just sharing my thoughts. Also, trying to read one book a month.
